Day 3: Konjic - Mostar - Blagaj - Počitelj - Trebinje
On the third day of our journey, we explore the beauties of Herzegovina—the region of sun, stone, and emerald rivers. Our first stop is the city of Konjic, famous for its Ottoman stone bridge connecting the banks of the Neretva River, telling a story centuries old. Next, we move towards Mostar, where the magnificent Old Bridge, a UNESCO World Heritage site and symbol of reconciliation, greets us. As you walk through the streets of the old town, you will feel the mix of Oriental and Mediterranean architecture; visiting the Karađoz-beg Mosque will complete this historical experience. We will spend the afternoon in Blagaj, home to a unique Dervish Tekke at the source of the Buna River; a place full of peace and spirituality. Having lunch by the river makes this experience even more special. We will then spend the late afternoon in the charming town of Počitelj, which gives the impression that time has stood still with its stone houses and fortress offering a magnificent view of the Neretva. We end the day arriving in warm and hospitable Trebinje, where we will check in and rest for the continuation of the adventure.
Day 4: Trebinje - Dubrovnik - Kotor - Budva
This day brings together three pearls of the Adriatic: Dubrovnik, Kotor, and Budva—cities that take your breath away with their beauty and rich history. On a walk through the old city, you will see the picturesque Stradun, monumental Pile Gate, impressive city walls, Onofrio Fountain, Orlando Column, Rector's Palace, and the Dominican Monastery. Those who wish can also enjoy a walk along the walls offering magnificent views of the sea and Dubrovnik's red roofs. You will have free time in the afternoon to explore the city on your own or enjoy lunch at one of many Mediterranean taverns and restaurants. In the afternoon, we continue our journey to Montenegro and arrive at the magical city of Kotor, hidden in a bay and surrounded by majestic mountains. We visit the old city and its landmarks: the magnificent Cathedral of Saint Tryphon, Flour Square, the Pillar of Shame, old arsenals, and elegant noble palaces. We spend the evening in picturesque Budva, one of the oldest metropolises on the Adriatic.
