Day 3: Herzegovina Region - Konjic - Jablanica - Kravice - Počitelj - Mostar

After breakfast at the hotel, we set off for Konjic.

After a short 40-minute drive, we will take a break in this charming town that connects the two regions of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In Konjic, you will have the opportunity to have coffee accompanied by the view of the Konjic Bridge, an Ottoman-era monument, and the beautiful Neretva River.

After the break, we will continue our journey to Jablanica, with beautiful views of Lake Jablanica and the surrounding landscape through which the Neretva River flows. These views leave an unforgettable impression on both locals and tourists. After a 25-minute drive, we will stop at an open-air museum dedicated to the Battle of the Neretva, one of the three most important battles of World War II in the former Yugoslavia.

After learning about this significant historical event, we head to Kravice, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the Balkans, located on the Trebižat River. This natural gem offers magnificent views and moments of complete relaxation.

After enjoying the natural beauties, our path takes us to the medieval town of Počitelj, which emerged during the Bosnian Kingdom before the arrival of the Ottomans. A walk in this town will provide you with a unique historical experience and the atmosphere of old times. We recommend resting with coffee or tea at the edge of the old city.

Afterward, we continue to Blagaj, where we will visit the Tekke (Dervish House) at the source of the Buna River, an important national monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina dating back to the 15th century. After the tour, we suggest trying the river trout prepared with traditional methods, a specialty of Herzegovinian cuisine.

Day 4: Vrelo Bosne - Airport Transfer

After breakfast at the hotel, we head towards Vrelo Bosne, a large national park and the source of the Bosna River. Since the park is located at the foot of Mount Igman, known as an Olympic mountain, arriving here feels refreshing with its cooler climate. Igman also has an important historical role due to the Igman March, where partisans crossed the mountain with civilians and the wounded during World War II. During our visit to the National Park, we will discuss this event at the monument dedicated to this significant historical occurrence at the entrance.

After touring and enjoying the nature of Vrelo Bosne, you will have an organized transfer to the airport where we will assist with your flight check-in.

For those interested, there is also the option of taking traditional horse-drawn carriage rides along Ilidža, Velika Aleja (Great Avenue), and Vrelo Bosne.
